We are a small charity, and are grateful for everyone who chooses to hire out our space. You’re helping us make it possible for schoolchildren, volunteers and anyone and everyone living nearby to Tulse Hill to come and learn about plants through free and low-cost activities.
We try to make our rates competitive, but maintaining the building and garden is expensive. If you or your organisation is in a position to make an additional solidarity donation when booking, we would really appreciate it.
At the same time, we want to make our space accessible to everyone – and small, local organisations which share our values and goals in particular.
If there is limited funding to cover the cost of the work (e.g., through a ticketed event, grant funding), you are a small local organisation or informal group, and/or your work sits within plant studies, climate justice or you work with disadvantaged groups, please get in touch to discuss discounted rates.
Members of the SLBI can also book our space at a discount. If you are a member, please mention this when getting in touch.
We have three rooms – our library, meeting room and canopy room – which can be booked for smaller meetings and workshops of 5-14 people in the evenings and at weekends. Please get in touch for pricing.
